GREETERS
Our Greeters are men and women of the church who are the "first-on-the-scene" for Sunday Morning services. Our mission is to provide a smiling face, a warm handshake, assistance with directions to classrooms, and to convey to everyone attending the services that Friendship Baptist lives up to it's name. We take our responsibility of being "the first impression" very seriously and are constantly looking for ways to assist the membership and visitors.

MEN FOR MISSIONS
The men vary in age, education and skills but have the unity of the Spirit and the shared goal of serving the Lord with hands-on assistance to His people. They help with maintenance projects around the church, assist widows, and make trips to help pastors and missionaries with building repairs, refurbishing, or construction. The blending of skills and time spent working together is always a blessing to the men as well as to those they help. Many of them can relate interesting experiences and have some great pictures of projects accomplished (with fellowship and fun enjoyed, too).

On the the third Saturday of most months the men meet for breakfast and a meeting, usually at the church. At the meetings there may be a need presented, plans made for a trip to assist a missionary, a report given (often with slides) on a completed project, or a special guest speaker. Rick Pahnke heads up this ministry and encourages others to join this fine team of men.

USHERS
It has often been said that a visitor's first impression when visiting a church rests upon the shoulders of the ushers. These men are an important part of the church's functions.

Our goal at Friendship is for a large percentage of our men to serve the Lord as an usher on a rotating basis. Our ushers are instructed and expected to: greet folks, offer guidance in directing people to various locations around the campus, help guests find desired seating, answer church related questions, take up offerings in an orderly manner, and deal with unexpected situations.

If you are interested in serving the Lord in this ministry, feel free to contact either the church office or George Kissinger.
